Boiler Room Wedding in Pittsburgh
On June 20th I had the pleasure of photographing a Wedding at the Boiler Room in Pittsburgh. Kari was not a Pittsburgh Pirates fan at all until she met Matt, who as you will find out is a huge fan.
We started off the day at St. Winifred Church in Mt. Lebanon. Matt, Kari, and the wedding party got ready at the church. I actually live very close in Scott Township but have never driven by this church. It is a very beautiful wide chapel. Oh and check out the bottom of the groom’s shoes!
After the ceremony we headed over to the north shore to get some shots near PNC Park. The north shore of Pittsburgh is my go-to spot for engagement sessions and family photo shoots. The skyline gives so many great backdrops. Check out the pictures below! On of them is a panoramic stitched together from 12 separate photos.
After we got a bunch of pictures at the North shore we headed over to the Boiler Room. It is a relatively new facility paid for by the Boilermakers. Plenty of picturesque areas for photos such as an outdoor patio, wooded surroundings, a gazebo, and waterfalls. I can honestly say the Rosario’s wedding cake was one of the most unique ones I have ever seen. A Pittsburgh Pirate’s wedding cake? How awesome is that! Matt and Kari also had a great and supportive group of people with them to celebrate their wedding. We at Drew Nelson Photography wish them the best in their wedded future!
