Lingrow Farm Wedding Photos – Nicole & Kevin
Over memorial day weekend I had the pleasure of photographing a wedding for two good friends of mine at Lingrow Farm in Leechburg, PA. This was my first time at the farm, and it might already be my favorite venue. The main building is a fully renovated barn that was built in the 1850’s. The property is 40 acres, with a pond, gazebo, two horses, and separate buildings for the bride and groom to get ready in. So many great spots for photos of the bride and groom. The staff at Lingrow Farm were extremely pleasant and easy to work with.
The weather we had was absolutely perfect for wedding photos. There was mild cloud cover, and the temperature was in the mid 70s.
Being that I am friends with Nicole and Kevin they were nice enough to let me experiment with a few different types of photos. Specifically lighting a fire directly behind them. This was done by lighting steel wool on fire, and spinning it around while the shutter remains open. I also got to play around with the pixelstick which gave the visual effect of white ribbons behind the couple. You can see both photos below.
Overall it was a beautiful wedding, and I am glad Kevin and Nicole trusted me to capture their wedding day. To a happy and healthy future!
